 | This Snowy Owl arrived around the end of November from the far North to spend the winter in the mild banana belt of Horsefly. 
Or maybe we have just enough mice to get it through the winter. The bird is pretty comfortabel being around humans and we can watch him every day.
Big Bear Ranch is a paradise for bird watching with all the shelterbelts, riparian zones and wildlife trees. We would love to have an ornithologist here to list all the different species.
